Hump day summary:
Wake up at 5:30 for the "hour of power" on the trainer in the garage. Here's the workout file:

Put away bike stuff and hurry inside. Get Faris up and ready for school - brush his teeth, change his diaper, dress him, comb his hair, and feed him breakfast.
Eat breakfast while simultaneously getting dressed. Drop Faris off at school then rush to work.
Sign a bunch of FEMA related documents at my desk at then rush directly to UT Campus Police HQ at 10:00 to provide fingerprints. Before I leave, my co-workers all joke and say it has been nice knowing me, have fun in prison, b/c my passport has a stamp from Lebanon (Beirut Airport) and I'm now on the terrorist watch list (as if I'm not on it already, along w/everyone else in the country). The fingerprints are not the digitally scanned, clean and quick kind, but the ink on paper, slow and messy kind. All 10 digits per sheet. 4 sheets. The "detective" helping me wore a firearm, as if taking fingerprints on a college campus is a dangerous affair.
Rush back to work at 11:30 to make a 12:00 lunch meeting w/the heads of state. An Italian place in West Lake. Caesar salad, pizza, and pasta.
Back to the office. Get my super bowl squares from Mitch. Not what you'd call favorable odds.
Spend 1:30 to 5:30 debugging messy, complicated Java code, restarting web servers, and digging around in Oracle databases.
Leave work and pick up Faris from school. Make him dinner, play w/him awhile, then make myself dinner. Nada gets home a bit late. Do dishes, laundry, tidy up a bit around the house, give Faris a bath, brush his teeth before bed, tuck him into bed and read books to him. Get myself ready for bed.
Thursdays mean an outdoor bike ride, then I'm home free on Friday.
Can't wait for this weekend and the Super Bowl showdown. I have a decent chance of winning $25 on 1 square at the end of the first quarter (0 to 3, 10 to 3, 0 to 13, or 10 to 13). Marcie, Len, and Gabriella are spending the weekend with us and I get to show Len around by bike Sunday morning. There is an 18 mile loop around Lake Travis from my front door, twisty and scenic with rolly hills and a final kicker local riders call "Triple Bitch".
