My present from Faris: a homemade picture frame and photo. He can't walk or talk yet, but he has remarkable penmanship and talent for crafts, nonetheless.
After a rainy Saturday, the thunderstorms cleared on Sunday (notice the moon in the top-center)...
Faris can't talk yet, but he can communicate in other ways. By caging the cat in the fireplace, he seemed to be saying "I want to go to the zoo".
So, after saying goodbye to great-grandma, grandma, and grandpa...
we went to the Austin Zoo, a rescue shelter for unwanted, uncared-for, and injured wild animals.
