In 2002, we went to England and France for a brief vacation. We flew into Charles De Gaul Airport in Paris where my friend, John Boyd, picked us up and drove us to our hotel, 1 block off the Champs-Elysees. After staying out all-night at various clubs in Paris, we watched Lance Armstrong win his 4th consecutive Tour de France.
We took The Chunnel from Calais, France to Ashford, England the next day and stayed with Nada's relatives for about 10 days, in a small village of about 100 people called "Bale". We snapped these photos swimming in the frigid waters of The Wash, an inlet of the North Sea.
