Flowers for Morrissey

Well... I missed the Morrissey show last night. Last year, I had tickets and he cancelled the show. This year, I bought a wristband, but couldn't go. Faris was sick with 103 fever and throwing up. So Nada and I opted to stay home to take care of him in case his condition worsened.

I have to live vicariously through Jeff, who wrote this synopsis of the show:

nothing off of viva hate and all new songs. but he
sounded really good. he's fat and kept taking his
shirt off...... then covering himself and running
backstage to put on a new shirt. sang a few too
many ballads like "life is a pig stye" and "jesus do
you hate me?" hehehe very depressing. but when he
rocked out he rocked out. the band was loud and
sounded really really good. he can still sing great.
then at the end this dude sprinted up on stage trying
to get to morrissey and was tackled. when i looked up
it was carlton with flowers.
