Cancun and Santa Monica Photos

I have not posted anything here in a long time. We've been busy with things. Namely, a 5 month old baby boy that occupies every spare second of time, and you don't want to miss a single second of it.

Last weekend, we took a 3-day trip to Santa Monica, CA (just North of LA) for Laura May's wedding, which was on a smallish mountain top overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu. It was 70 degrees F the entire time, and we rented a convertible. We stayed at the recently renovated Huntley Hotel, about 2 blocks from the beach. We had a late flight back on Sunday, which left us plenty of time for a leisurely stroll along the beach's bike path. While taking the photos of the houses along the beach, I lost my front wheel in some deep sand and face-planted in front of alot of people, just like a true tourist. Luckily, the camera survived the crash landing.
