I wish Lance would take another stab at a rainbow jersey. Yeah its cool and all that he's doing races like Nevada City Classic and Leadville 100. But it always bothered me during his pre-comeback career that he only ever focused on the Tour. Well, he won the Tour 7 times as we've all read/heard a million times, so its time to move on to something else. The US would have a very strong and experienced world's team but no "real" chance of winning... unless Lance rides. Zabriskie, Hincapie, Leipheimer, McCartney, Horner, Lance, maybe a couple of the younger crop of up-and-coming 'muhrican riders.
While you're at it, Lance, go ahead and try to take out LBL, and why not take a shot at Amstel Gold now that Eric Dekker and Boogart won't be there to suck your wheel the whole race?
